I do not understand the previous reviews, everyone gave this place an 8 plus! Old motel, dirty elevator, bathroom floor was sticky, sink was not clean. The stairway could use better lighting to walk up 3 floors. Would not stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay at the pioneer hotel. I booked a superior king bedroom for a great price. The room was kept clean but lack many amenities. The description was on the listing, but i failed to catch it. That was on me, not the hotel. One thing my room did lack was a fridge or mini fridge. If you plan on spending time on the river with food and drinks, get yourself a room with a fridge. I would also like to say the staff was very friendly and would like to thank them

It was a good place to stay on a budget. Nice and clean, ready when I got there, and has all the basics for a good nights sleep. Bed was comfortable and the price was right. Overall quite satisfied with my stay.

Hate to sound like a sour puss but security needs to enforce NO DIVING into the pool. Its only 3, 4 & 5 ft and enforce proper pool wear swimming trunks for males and swimming wear for ladies/kids. People were getting into the pool with street clothes on polluting the water. I really like this hotel hate to see it go down. Thank you to all the staff very nice, sweet and considerate! Oh and theres a beach area so just in case y'all come deep (family) thats an option as well, besides the pool area

Check in was quick! Security patroling made my self and my family feel safe. Room was excellent very clean, neat, large desk tops, comfortable bed. Tv needs some updating 😬 more towels would be nice also. Other than that love this hotel, booked 2 nights, decided to stay an extra night! Thanks New Pioneer! Keep up the good job

first room there was a cockroach. I don't know why they have mirrors on the tub spigot. Second room had bad toilet fan(fixed it.) then the door wouldn't latch. Enginnering just ground the plate to nothing and called if fixed. The bed was had "hole/dent in bed" from common use. Never saw room cleaning crew, guess you have to ask for it. We slept in the 500 area. No elevator, noisy deliveries garbage truck noise, loud maintenance crews, smoking and construction noise. Lots of flies in the evening. Pool was nice. hot tub had a lot of floaties(hair, bugs and other stuff) I don't think the sweeper was doing its job. Large group of locals not associated with hotel took over hot tub. squeezing us out, that was after the security guy stopped verified no bands and let them stay. Other guest included 5 offroad buggies that started 7am sharp.
