“We had a wonderful time at Elk Knob Nook cabin. Nicely located on a hilltop overlooking pastures with horses and cows, along with amazing views into the mountains and valleys nearby. Very quiet surroundings, with little to no sounds of civilization. Sunrises and sunsets from the porch were a nice way to start and end each day. While this is a "tiny home" we never felt cramped. The high ceilings makes it feel larger. The owner responded quickly to a request for some closet hangers and made sure……

“The cabin was great - very peaceful, clean, dog-friendly, and conveniently located. It's up a mountain road and set back in the woods a bit, which made it quiet. The driveway was slightly steep but our AWD SUV didn't have any problems with it. The cabin had a nice vibe and we sat outside in the rocking chairs quite a bit.We did several activities within 20-45 mins from the cabin which I would recommend:- Blue Ridge Parkway- Grandfather Mountain- Lynn Cove Viaduct- Cone Manor- Bass Lake Trail-……

“Willet Ponds Farm was a wonderful place to stay. We stayed in the Willet Nest property which was perfect for our stay. Hubby and I stayed in the main house and our 17 year old daughter loved her own space in the bunk house/small cabin. Walton who runs the farm was great with communicating when animal feedings would happen. We had a blast interacting with the chickens, donkeys, horses and bunnies.
