“We just had a delightful family reunion in Lava Hot Springs. The yurts were so much fun. This is glamping at its finest! Our family of 27 people rented all five yurts from Wed-Sat. Everyone got a kick out of the themed-decor. We shared meals, so we spent time in each one. Every person in our group had a different favorite-- but each one had fun lamps, headboards, tables, and art unique to its theme. “OK, so the overall stay was good, but it’s more like a frat house. It’s not for couples. The beds were uncomfortable. The kitchenette was not really a kitchenette. It was a plug-in burner. That was way outdated with one pan that was really beat up. Not very many dishes towels were stained. they advertised AC, but there was no air conditioning unit. So if you plan on going with your significant other pick a different spot this is for younger people as a group. It does have a nice view. If the……

“My wife and two young kids stayed here for a night on a 10 day road trip. It was the nicest place we stayed on the whole trip. All modern and updated finishes. The beds were very comfortable. It has a great shower and all modern appliances. The host was very helpful. I highly recommend. ”
