KY Bourbon Trail FUN! Double Shot on Main 2 Bed/2 Bath

Stay at this central KY home and relish in the area's bourbon, wine, horses, sports, music and so much more. Between your outings you will enjoy the in-house fun with lounge & game room. This house is 1469 sq ft and is ideal for double date getaways, friend trips or couples. You will be located within 10 minutes of Wild Turkey, Four Roses, 2 craft distilleries, 2 wineries and multiple event/wedding venues. There is also a golf course and fishing lake nearby. Double Shot is within a 1 hour drive to the majority of distilleries on the Bourbon Trail and major cities such as Louisville, Bardstown, Frankfort and Lexington. There is even a castle in close proximity so choose fun and book now!

Double Shot on Main is a double bedroom, double bath, shotgun style house on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail with double the fun of others in the area. During good weather it is within walking distance of downtown and it is a beautiful walk with mature trees and interesting homes.

We want you to have a comfortable stay so a fully equipped kitchen, two 40" Roku TVs and various games are provided. Air Hockey table, Poker/Black Jack table, darts and everything from XBox 360 to board games are supplied, including puzzles, playing cards, dice and books. Coffee, teas and condiments are on hand along with a drip coffee pot with filters provided, manual French press and coffee grinder. There is also a gas grill on the back deck with table seating for four.

The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom, queen bed, 40" Roku TV, electric fireplace and closet. The second bedroom has a queen bed, closet, dresser and use of the guest bathroom. Both bathrooms include a hair dryer and starter toiletries. Window air conditioners (April-Oct) and baseboard electric heat let you set your own temperature for each room. If you like a colder or warmer bedroom then you can do it here without affecting your travel companions.

The in-house Welcome Guide will help you get acquainted with the area and will highlight experiences available to make your trip interesting. We absolutely loved staying at Double Shot! The house was very comfortable, clean, well decorated and stocked with everything you need and then some! Check-in is simple; Just don’t show up 15 minutes early. Door unlocks at exactly 3pm! It’s perfect if you’re going on the bourbon trail like we did. The owner has tons of fliers and information on everything you need to make plans! The game rooms were so fun and we enjoyed it every evening coming back from long days of tastings & Tours! I highly recommend this property!

Great place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Double Shot on Main. The place was very clean, nicely furnished, and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and an easy walk to town. We only stayed a few days but due to its central location, we were able to visit Versailles for the rail bike ride, Lexington & Louisville. We would definitely stay here again.

Quick weekend trip to visit my son. The house was great! It looks small from the road but it’s very roomy. Great location if you’re looking to hit parts of the Bourbon Trail. We really enjoyed throwing darts in the evening while we were relaxing. Jeanine was a great host and very responsive. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Frankfort/Lawerenceburg area!

Us and another couple came for a bourbon weekend. It was the perfect location between Bardstown and Frankfort. The location was a bit hard to find the first time especially at night, but the host gave great directions!

This was a perfect place to stay when visiting distilleries & Lexington. Cozy and beautifully decorated! It’s obvious the owner is a thoughtful person - there are so many little things that you don’t always see in vacation rentals. Would absolutely stay here again!

Birthday Celebration

Double Shot on Main St was a quaint and cozy home. It was centrally located to all the spots we wanted to see and explore the Bourbon Trail. The house decor and GAMES made the evenings fun especially the dart board! House was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Shot out to our host who gave us great suggestions on sites to see. We would definitely revisit this home if we do the Trail again.

Wedding weekend

We stayed here for a wedding (Della Mae) and it was very convenient. The house was clean and bigger than expected. The game rooms were really cool and the kids (teens) loved it. The host was super easy to communicate with, accommodating and very responsive. We would have enjoyed staying longer. Highly recommend this place for couples and/or teens if you visit Lawrenceburg.

Double Shot on Main

Great property for 2 couples. We each had our own bathroom and comfortable bedroom rooms with nice bedding. Well stocked kitchen with a lot of thought and detail with regards to bourbon kitchen ware. Loved the dart board area. The living room as a nice spot to chill but the TV streaming services did not work as the TV is too old. That is the only negative for the house... we wanted to stream a movie and could not and the guys had a tough time watching sports. Maybe the poker table could have a custom removable flat top on it so 4 people can eat together? Otherwise, it was thoughtfully planned out with seats for 2 in each room. Overall all an excellent property!

Great location and perfect for a game-loving group

We loved our stay here and would do it again! It’s a great location for the bourbon trail. The game table along with the dart board aided with our “down time” helped make for a perfect stay. Comfy beds and very clean.

We only stayed for 1 night but what a perfect place to end up after a long day of driving. Host communicated well about how to access the property and was very thoughtful in turning on the light since we arrived after dark. The house was very clean and beds were super comfy!!

Super fun house!
