“Notres séjour s'est très bien passé, nous avons été merveilleusement accueilli. Petit bémol : la salle d'eau et WC relativement étroit, pas très accessible (marche pas assez large) pour des personnes qui ont quelques soucis aux jambes.. sinon tout était très bien ☺️”

“We had a very nice and comfortable stay in this well situated house near Le Bugue. Well situated because a lot of the must sees in the Dordogne are within 1 hour drive. The house itself is well equiped and offers everything you need for a selfcatering holiday home. A large Hypermaché is in the nice village. The owners live nextdoor and are very helpfull when needed but give you all your privacy. The warmed swimming pool is nice and had a very nice and comfortable poolhouse. The pool is a maybe……

“Plazac besticht durch die absolut ruhige und ungestörte Lage! Die Hauptstraße des Dorfes ist nur wenig befahren. Es gibt einen kleinen Supermarkt ("Bio"), die Bäckerei ist fast gegenüber. Der Vermieter ist ein sehr interessanter Mann, der sich hervorragend mit den prähistorischen Fundstätten der Region auskennt und gute Tipps geben kann. Auch in punkto Restaurants gibt er die richtigen Empfehlungen: Das "Auberge Le Moustier" ist 5 Minuten entfernt (Le Moustier) und bietet Spitzengastronomie zu……

“Never stayed anywhere twice but this was our first time to do so. Beautiful place, immaculately kept, helpful and friendly host and the lovely Nero. So much to do in the region also, we may even go for a third stay next year! Wanted for nothing. Thank you Walter and Sylvie.”

“The property was gorgeous, clean and the pool was stunning. The kitchen was well equipped. We had a lovely family holiday. Just a couple of points to note. The beds were very very firm, to the point of being uncomfortable. Firm beds are not for us. The listing said hot tub. We hadn’t seen one in the pictures so guessed it was a mis-print, but to confirm there is no hot-tub despite it being listed. The WiFi did not work at all. We called the host who was very good and came straight away but……

“The accommodation was situated on the river, near all the shops and the excellent museum of prehistory.. It was very calm and peaceful. Communication with the hostess was clear and easy.”

“Nous avons été déçu de notre gîte. Les alentours sont mal entretenus, l’impression d’abandon. Dans la chambre n°3, le matelas est plus large que le sommier. La cuisine: manque de vaisselle, d’ustensiles de cuisine, de bols pour déjeuner. Des plats rouillés. Pas de vraie cafetière… il faut des dosettes senseo. Manque aspirateur, seau et serpillère pour faire le ménage. Sur la terrasse, les lattes en bois se soulèvent, le salon de jardin est vieillissant, odeur de fosse septique.”
