“The inn was so unique and had such amazing history. Frank was the sweetest and so nice about us coming in later. When we came he showed us around and told us all about Smithville’s history and some of the artifacts there. Can’t wait to come again! ”

“I'll start with my top dislike, which is the room switch they decided without telling me or giving me the option to cancel my reservation. My husband has a knee injury so climbing stairs to the second floor was painful, but he accepted it. This B&B only has a small number of rooms to begin with and I liked only one room on the ground level, so i reserved it over a month ago. I was greeting pleasantly, the place was clean, no bad smells, and the breakfast was good. The themed room I was given……

“Exactly as advertised. And we got the bonus of visiting with Root Beer, the former-stray Siamese cat that has adopted the Vineyard Mansion as his home. A much nicer experience than staying in a hotel room - we'll be back!”
