“The end of a really nice weekend in the Ottawa area. Stayed at a really nice little hotel in Aylmer, Quebec just across the river known as The British Hotel, built in 1834. Apparently it was quite the brawl room in its heyday. Recently purchased and renovated to include some inexpensive but very modern 2nd floor suites, electronic check-in, lock box entry, self contained pub and restaurant, patio and separate country cafe, at $125/night definitely a place I will be staying at again.”
