“There was plenty of space for 13 of us, the rooms were lovely and the games room was a god-send due to the weather!”

“This property is not 'posh' but it is absolutely perfect for a large family or group gathering. There is masses of space for cooking, eating and socialising and sitting outdoors. The setting of the cottage is second to none - surrounded by the fabulous New Forest and the giant redwoods of the Rhinefield Ornamental Drive. There are lots of walking and cycling trails immediately accessible from the property. We took our youngsters out on a dusk walk on the first night we arrived and they saw deer,……

“Pretty grounds and lake; the alpacas and goats were particularly friendly. The accommodation was compact but had everything available - fridge/kitchen etc. The bed was very comfortable ”

“My family and I stayed at the French Mill Granary for 3 nights. We really enjoyed it. Our teenage daughter slept in the gypsy caravan which she loved. The garden was fabulous (our dog loved to run and discover various parts) and the swing was a hit. Everyone was very helpful giving us ideas about the places we could visit. We really enjoyed the Isle of Wight and staying at the the Granary which is in a very good location to travel around. Thank you”

“We spent 5 excellent days over Christmas, creating some wonderful memories. This was the second time we stayed here, with the added excitement of families together at Xmas. The house is large so plenty of space for everyone. All beds very comfortable Extensive gardens, and all kinds of outdoor games and outdoor equipment for all ages. Take your microwave as this helps a lot to supplement AGA cooking if you’re not used to cooking on one!”

“Delightful setting - with country and canalside walks from the doorstep. Welcoming host family live next door and there's plenty of private parking on the shared driveway. Comfortable large bed, bright and clean bedroom upstairs with bathroom next to kitchen area downstairs. Lovely to step straight out of front door at dusk to comfy seats overlooking their beautiful garden at sunset.”

“We had a family weekend in the New Forest. This was a lovely property with a gorgeous outdoor space in a fab location. The hosta were incredibly helpful and we're very communicative. We enjoyed out stay and I was surprised withe the amenities and everything there was there. We would definitely recommend this property and the hosts.”
