“No ventilation, the apartment has no WINDOWS, accept for 2 roof lights which were too high to reach. The property was booked for 3 people, I rang and confirmed but regardless there was no linen or pillows for the 3rd person.”

“The host never responded to any communications. I tried calling, SMS, email and hotel.com chat. The agent also tried to contact them unsuccessfully. I had to wait until 4pm on the day of arrival before the agent agreed to re-book. After that I then had to wait for hotels.com to respond. Gave up and asked for a refund. These people will leave you oit of pocket, on the street, in the dark. Dangerous and unethical practice especially for lone female travellers.”

“St Lawrence Manor was the perfect place for our large group of 14 adults and 8 children. The place is massive and the grounds were excellent. We all had enough space to gather as a group, but could have our own space too. The games room with bar was the highlight and we loved the tennis court too. Some of the rooms/bathrooms could do with a refresh, but that didn’t effect our stay at all. The large kitchen and dining area was great and perfect for large meals together. We all had an excellent……
