“This is a special place! It’s a beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting! The check in was very easy and the cabin had everything that we needed, including in the kitchen. I enjoyed taking the kayak out for an evening paddle on the smooth as glass lake and enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the loons. The little store in Laporte was close for picking up milk and sweet corn. We look forward to staying here again! ”

“We had a very nice time here. I would have to say this was the cleanest cabin i have ever stayed at. There was almost any kind of kitchen item you could imagine for cooking. It was great being so close to the lake. We enjoyed time out on the deck and being able to grill. All cabins looked occupied but you would never know it as everyone was so respectful and quiet. We would come back again.”

“Had a great time grilling and having a camp fires. Impressed with the wood storage container as we are AL members as well! Would have liked a dishwasher and a light over the stove. Need a larger microwave in kitchen. The Bunkhouse was great with my parents enjoying the bar-top table. Go Fishing was great enjoyment for my disabled wheelchair-bound husband. Hope to return in the future.”

“Our family absolutely loved staying at the Red Barn Lodge! Donna has truly thought of everything to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The house was impeccably clean and well-organized.The attention to detail in the decor was impressive - from the beautiful woodwork to the thoughtfully chosen furniture, every element contributed to the lodge's warm, rustic charm.
