“Hotel is undergoing a major refurb. I was on the 2nd floor. Room was recently refurbished so very clean, comfortable and all good. Staff very attentive, friendly and food served very quickly. Prices were very reasonable.”

“It was the last room available, it was small and the shower was hard to get un and out of that was the only bad point ,the hotel and staff were great,and the food was excellent. ”

“Not a great stay. No hot water for the first few hours of my stay (no actual water coming from taps), then barely warm water for the rest of the stay. Shower hose so perforated virtually nothing came out of the shower head. Terrible memory foam mattresses that compress to nothing meaning zero support. Music in the restaurant/bar too noisy to enjoy a quiet pint and meal. Food was OK, onion rings superb. Music at breakfast equally as loud, not great when trying to start your day gently.”

“Our room was clean and comfortable. It was a good size and set up for a family as we needed. We were disappointed that the spa was closed, an odd decision to close the spa at the weekend when travellers are most likely to want to use it. Breakfast was a little underwhelming but plenty to choose from. The cereal packets were quite a long way out of date. The traffic was quite loud from our room at the front of the hotel. A room at the back would be much better to be able to sleep through. Just……

“The hotel actually has two sections on two sides of the bridge. We were expecting to be on the water side but was disappointed. The room only has a small window facing the back of the hotel. Nothing impressive at all. The staffs were not helpful on anything. We were asked by the front desk to go across the bridge to make booking at the hotel restaurant. ”

“We stayed one night with our dog. I was a little doubtful on what the standard of room would be like due to us having a dog. The room was a good size, very clean and smelt pleasant. The grounds were also clean and plenty of small grassed areas for the dog to pop out. We stayed for breakfast which was hot snd tasty. All the staff where helpful and friendly. ”

“Nice place for a short stay. Staff were great. My Sisters check in took along time, well past 3pm. Still not checked in by tea time. Only down side was no electrical power points nxt to bed. I had to run extension cables which could of caused an accident getting up in the middle of the night.”
