“Great property. Lot of rooms and activities”

“This was the perfect place for our family reunion - gathering family of all ages from across the country for 5 days! Kids (young & old!) LOVED the "movie theater room" and books/puzzles/toys along with other comfortable spaces to eat, visit and enjoy each other's company. The location allowed us to take advantage of the nearby air museum, local zoo, parks, grocery store/restaurants/ice cream shops just a few minutes away and also take the metro into DC to tour the National Mall and historic……

“No need to look any further! Beautiful, clean,historic home in a perfect location. Close to wineries, breweries, Shenandoah River, hiking and only 45 minutes from DC. The host was very accommodating and friendly as well. We would highly recommend this home for you and your family. ”

“It was a great stay. No complaints! Great communication with the hosts before and during our stay. Very clean and just like the photos. The only comments not entirely positive (but worth noting because it was one of my deciding factors in booking this property) is that the hot tub was not clean enough for us to be comfortable using (it is in the woods and may have been pollen coming through the screens—but it was covered) and I think one of the queen sized mattresses does need to be replaced in……

“The outdoor spaces exceeded my expectations of the property. There is ample space on the deck, the yard is enjoable with the views and firepit, and the front porch rocking chairs are relaxing with a cup of coffee and litening to the gentle rain.Young adults enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to replace mattress in 1st floor bedroom, it sinks a little. That is a small inconvenience considering that everything else was lively and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools.”

“Great fenced in yard, for pets and gatherings. Very clean!!!! Great dead end location. Next to Harper's Ferry Battle Ground museum and backs up to KOA campground which has a great general store! Can't wait to come back!!”

“Scenery was beautiful. The property is perfectly set up for hang outs, games and nights in. My only concern, which is an easy fix, would be to get a longer hose that reaches the campfire. Just in case anything happens, or to make it easier to put out your fire at night, a water hose close by would be nice. Otherwise, the home is PERFECT! ”
