“Stay was pleasant. Wish the pool was open. If Hotel.com knew it wasn’t in working order,then we probably would have booked elsewhere. We also booked a pet friendly room and were told that they could accommodate us due to the pool not being open. Even though we had booked a pet friendly hotel. Thankfully we were able to bring our puppy to the room. The reason for our trip was to pick her up. But the room served its purpose. ”

“My family and friends came up for the American Birkebeiner ski race. We were unable to get into our usual place so thought we would try this place. It’s a very clean hotel with comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We liked it so much we decided to stay again next year. ”

“Fantastic setting, clean and perfect for our visit. Even though we would have loved to be there longer in mornings , we had MC rides for 3 days with friends on Rice lake 1.2 miles away. Great local for our visit. We will definitely recommend to others in future visits.”

“Room was clean and tidy. Water pressure was really good and was hot which was a plus since it was almost negative twenty outside. The restaurant across the street is a treat as well. ”

“The owner was was very kind, friendly, and accommodating and had a cute gift shop. She also made a wonderful breakfast that started out with a baked apple! The yard and house were decorated very nicely for the holidays, complete with music to add to the ambiance. The room had everything we needed and included an amazing copper bath tub that was wonderful to soak in. Overall it was a great place to sleep and relax with much more character than a hotel room could ever have. ”
