“Our family (ages 8-68) had a nice weekend. The weather was a very springish mix but we had things to do inside (fun playroom!) and outside (peaceful lake right outside the door). The nearby Austin T Blakesee Area had a nice trail going along the river (but we didn't see the whole park) with a stop at Sweet Cravings on the way home, yum.Comfortable lodging that is kid-friendly. ”

“The property was way better than described. Family friendly, clean and spacious. I LOVED that there was a gym. The kids had their own space to play games and watch movies. Josiah was very friendly and very responsive. He allowed us to check in early as well! ”

Had a great time. 20 minute walk to beautiful lake/beach.Just a few glitches: living room propane fireplace hard to light/no instructions Outdoor propane fire pit had loose wire & had to be lit manually. Downstairs sleeping area chilly. No downstairs thermostat control.Could have used Wine glasses & dish towels in kitchen.But overall cozy and nice Mountain house and enjoyed our stay. ”

“Great location! 5 minute walk to Island which has the best pool/ tennis/ rentals . 15 minute walk to one of the beaches . Nice to have a bathroom in each bedroom Also very nice that linens and towels are supplied for us , along with tp and paper towels and dish soap. The inside of the house was clean And very comfortable . The river in our backyard was amazing . Just disappointed in the shape of the backyard and deck . Grill was an absolute mess ( we left it in much better shape than we got……

“Myself and a group of friends stayed at this property over the New Year’s Eve holiday for a small 2-night winter getaway. When searching for houses, our only main request with the group was a house with a hot tub and beds for all us to sleep. This house was perfect for just that and very spacious which we loved. Our booking process and check in instructions were very easy, along with the property being at a very good location. The host was very responsive when booking and was able to answer all……

“Everything was great and the house was very comfortable for all of us. The location was really nice too, secluded and quiet but also lots of stuff to do nearby (beach, lake etc.) The only thing is the inconvenience of the check-in and check-out times. Check-in was relatively late considering we came from NY, and same thing with the check-out, too early! .”
