“This is now a Red Roof Inn, and it's your basic motel: bare bones, park outside your door, etc. It's clean, quiet, the thermostat works and there's a microwave & a full-size fridge in the room. I'm a business traveler, and I should point out that there's no closet and no hangars, so it was tricky to hang my dress shirts and sport coats. It's a two-minute walk to a Waffle House, so breakfast was easy.”

“The check in alone should have been a red flag, it was an outdoor service window. The room itself was awful. It was small and cramped and freezing cold. The bed had two very flat pillows (thankfully we always bring our own from home). My fiance went to put his drinks in the refrigerator and couldn't even leave them in there because it was so dirty. “My best friend and I had an absolutely relaxing time here, I wish we had stayed longer! The property is very unique and exactly like the pictures. We spent so much of our time just sitting out back watching the water and enjoying the hot tub and porch swing (also, two of the trees out back are perfect for a hammock!). Owners were great communicators and access was super easy. Also the neighbors we ran into were so friendly! Highly recommend!”

She turned 18 earlier in the month and just committed to a college finally so it was just a little getaway for us but the property is exactly as pictured. Totally adorable!!!!
