“This was a lovely spot. The accomodation was basic but really all that is needed. We did not have any hot water for all our stay however. We called (no answer) and left a message (no reply). This was a bit disappointing. The bunk beds look practical but with one person on the bottom bunk and one on the top sleep was hard as everytime one of us moved the bed would creek and wobble. ”

“Beautiful location with direct beach access. Could do with some TLC around the property along with more kitchen utensils, mugs, pans etc. Could only find a couple of towels for 8 people, fortunately we had taken a few with us.”

“Loved this cottage with history. We stayed in Rodden (not Owl) cottage, on the same property, and it was delightful. Lots of stone and heavy timbers, beautiful updating recently. A storm had knocked out water to Owl, so our host offered us Rodden, very accommodating. Only complaint was the fuel oil smell in the downstairs bedroom.”

“We, unfortunately, had to cancel this trip as a member of our travel party was experiencing a medical emergency. We hope to rebook some time in September. However, We stayed at this property two 1/2 years ago with our now adult children. This property was BEAUTIFUL and everything it was advertised to be! Accommodations were EXCELLENT. We had tasty scones waiting for us when we arrived. The nearby town of Culdaff was wonderful. If you want a great meal, be sure to visit The Butterbean! We will……

“This was a family Easter break with my children and grandchildren we all had a good time going to the beach and exploring the beautiful beach and coastal drives The beach is walking distance from the house which was great as we had two children under 5 who could have stayed there all day The house was perfect for us very home from home with everything you need suppled the only down fall was the 10 o clock check out especially with the children but definitely would stay here again ”
