“We enjoyed our stay at Allison’s place. She responded quickly and went above and beyond to accommodate our little family. Her house is cozy and has cool art. It is in a great spot to explore New River Gorge and some tasty restaurants! ”

“Location across from a creek was beautiful, and super quiet, I caught you on my sleep. Very comfortable bed, good quality sheets and towels, plenty of hot water, and good water pressure. Immaculately clean. Small confusion about check in but easily sorted, hosts were easy to contact and very friendly. Close to 64 and a short drive to 19. Great place to rest up after hiking and rafting.”

“This quaint little place was all it was advertised! From the welcome video to the rose petal heart on the bed, the place had all the little things that made the stay incredible. Sitting out by the coy pond and watching the doe and her fawn walk over to us was the start of a great evening. Laying back on the bed and watching the satellites fly over was amazing. Hope they have a return guest discount, we would come back!”

“Horseshoe Acres was great! There was plenty of room for our family (6 adults & 3 teenagers), and every room was immaculately clean. The long tables inside and on the deck allowed for meals, games, and conversation, and the theatre, popcorn machine, hot tub, and yard, were hits for our group. Although we did not use the fire pit, grill, or sauna, it was nice to have them available. Oak Hill’s proximity to the New River Gorge and Welcome Center, river and bridge, UTV tour, Grandview,……

“We very much enjoyed our stay here. The location was very convenient to New River Gorge, and It was also close to a grocery store and restaurants. The house was clean and comfortable. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen seemed well equipped. They were generous with the household goods, such as soap, paper towels, etc. The house was tastefully decorated and the furniture and beds were comfortable. If I came back to the area I would stay here without hesitation.”

They have included many works done by different artisans from West Virginia. It was great to see these works of art. We can't say enough how happy we are with our choice of this property.
