“We really enjoyed our stay. Be sure to follow the written instructions. We originally put the address provided into google maps and it took us to a different location. After we backtracked and followed the written directions, we arrived! The driveway was washed out in spots, which made traversing in our car a bit difficult. We took it slow and steady and made it. “Great log cabin in a quiet setting close to 3 major state parks and a battlefield. The host has a quick response time and everything was clean and kept up.”

“We used this cabin as a central location for a week of exploring the local state parks. It was a great cabin with all the necessary amenities the beds are incredibly comfortable and we were able to comfortably fit our group of four. Do note that it can feel a bit crowded especially if you have a lot of bags. However we were more than happy staying here!”

“This is a great get a way spot that is tucked into a peaceful and scenic location. There’s a little creek that runs by within a short walking distance. We really enjoyed the stay. The only reason I only gave 4 stars on the check in was that it wasn’t ready when we got there due to the previous occupants not leaving when they were supposed to and that we didn’t know which one we were supposed to go to. “Traveling with a large family is never easy, but this rental made us feel at home. Full kitchen for cooking, dining area to seat everyone, huge tv, great wi-fi, washer and dryer, fun backyard to make s’mores, and beds upstairs to sleep all our kids. We would stay here again!”

“What a great cabin to come back to each afternoon after fun-filled days at Elephant Rocks, Johnson Shut-Ins, Shepherd Mountain and Taum Sauk - all within a 35 minute drive. Clean, comfortable, and unexpectedly spacious for our family of four and four-legged friends. But if you don't find it big enough, just step outside to some wonderfully big views on the deck or at the fire pit. We've stayed in quite a few rentals, and this one was definitely at the top of the list. ”
