Lake is rich in fish like pike, perch and vendace. The nearby Lestijoki river has opportunity to try to catch rainbow trout with lures. Excellent berry and mushroom picking grounds nearby.
Access to hiking trail called Peuranpolku.
Owner rents out snowshoes and bicycles, also advices how and where to get e.g fishing licences.
