“Everything was exactly as listed. The property is well taken care of and was very clean and the owner's were great! The only improvement that can be suggested is upgrading the mattress. However, this was our second stay and we will be back again! The views are beautiful and the lake is a quick 15 min drive away. This has been our favorite place to stay in Raystown so far and we hope to make this little cabin our regular stay for quick getaways with our fur-babies.”

The drive is only 30 minutes to campus and was affordable compared to the prices the hotel chains were charging.The positives:- Would stay here again even with the negatives outlined below- Very quiet- Property is owned by Amish and kept very clean- All the amenities you’ll need for a short or long stay- Plenty of space for a couple, family, or a few friends- Felt safe- Property Manager was helpful trying to find the place and……

“I celebrated 40 years since my Penn State graduation with my senior college roommate at this cabin just a couple miles from Poe Valley State Park. It was a nice peaceful setting near a small stream. The cabin had everything we wanted. Liked the screened-in porch and the recliners (we're getting old). You do need to drive a few miles of dirt roads to get to this area, but the cabin is along a paved road near a small village of cabins just outside the state parks of Poe Valley and Poe Paddy. ……

“The open floor plan on the main level is great for gathering. Everything was clean, and the kitchen is well stocked.
