“We had a great stay in this beautiful Shawshank themed home! It is approximately 15 minutes from downtown Mansfield and The Ohio State Reformatory. Downtown Mansfield had several roads closed due to construction, so unfortunately we weren’t able to see several of the locations on the Shawshank Driving Tour. “This property was perfect for my daughter and myself during Miss Ohio week. The Recovery Loft is cozy and comfy. From the couch with chaise, the bed & bedroom, to the kitchen with a nice 4 top table and amenities. The owner provides shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower, along with a hair dryer. Broom, mop, and vacuum should you need it. The bed is comfortable and the room a perfect size. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking meals along with spices!! If you need extra……

“We made our way from Boston to attend my niece's wedding @ a delightful venue in Mohican State Park. We knew very little about the area and searched nearby VRBO"s. Sam's Loft on Main Street in quaint Loudonville proved to be a gem, ie, sparkling clean, smartly decorated, with plenty of natural light. We've stayed at many VRBOs primarily in the Northeast, and would rate Sam's in the top quartile. So, bottom line, if your travels take you to the Mohican area, set yourself up for a comfortable……

“Private apartment built on to unique century schoolhouse. Hosts were incredible! Everything was impeccably clean. ”

“A great property and an incredibly accommodating host. Clean, well appointed in overall a very comfortable stay. Even with road construction going on near the property it was no inconvenience to access. It’s ample parking area. Overall, I’d stay there again in a minute.”

“Clean and roomy, booked for location and separate bedrooms/baths. Quiet stay. Had to fix thermostat ourselves to get the AC working and one of the showers wasn’t usable. Had no water pressure (checked the shutoffs but they looked ok). Pre arrival email mentioned parking pass in lockbox but found only keys. After some back and forth with support just had the license plates for our vehicles reported to office. Support was prompt in contacting property for maintenance issues but no one ever showed.……

“If you need quiet, relaxing way to unplug(but still have wi-fi) There isn’t a better place to stay in Ohio than with John in Mount Vernon.Tons of space to unwind. Two great spots to sit outside and see cows mosey through a meadow in close distance and deer comfortable in their natural setting.So visit John, grab some good food to cook in the spacious kitchen and remember to enjoy the simple specialness of life.”
