Nice boutique hotel a couple of blocks from main downtown area with plenty of dining options, shops, museums..including the Kentucky Historical Society directly across the street from the hotel. Only complaint was restaurant at Delegate does not serve breakfast or lunch M-F, only dinner from 4:pm on..maybe 5? Whichever. On weekends there is a brunch that doesn’t begin until 10:am..it’s very good, a bit expensive though and I wished they’d give you a regular breakfast option too. Plus there should be some sort of breakfast available thru the week that’s put out with the coffee at 7:am. Croissants, toast, jams, OJ, simple stuff..At least. Because you have to walk at least a couple of blocks to the nearest breakfast redtaurant( Main Diner) WHICH is very good, but very crowded quickly after opening. Limited seating. And there’s another one practically right next door..not as extensive breakfast menu.
The hotel is clean, comfortable, unique, staffed well, no complaints. Parking is limited because the hotel sits on an incline…without many parking spaces requiring those who don’t get one of those to park behind the hotel in a lot requiring more walking with luggage than clients would like.
The town is wonderful, with historical homes and buildings, located 30 minutes from Lexington. We’ll definitely go back.
