River Dance Cottage is a luxurious two-bedroom retreat situated on the serene banks of the River Ure, right next to the stunning Aysgarth Falls. This charming cottage offers a perfect escape for nature enthusiasts and walkers, with breathtaking scenery and numerous walking trails right at your doorstep. Aysgarth Falls, a spectacular triple flight of waterfalls, is one of the highlights of the Yorkshire Dales. Carved out by the River Ure over a nearly one-mile stretch, the falls are divided into three stages: Upper Force, Middle Force, and Lower Force. The falls are particularly impressive after heavy rainfall, when thousands of gallons of water cascade over the broad limestone steps. The surrounding area is a walker’s paradise, featuring picturesque landscapes and tranquil paths. After a day of exploring, you can unwind at the nearby tearooms, cafes, or the local pub/restaurant, all just a short stroll away. Great location for exploring the falls and enjoying long walks. Cottage was immaculate, cozy and private. Lots of lovely little touches made it feel extra special and perfect for little romantic trip away.

Beautiful place in a gorgeous area. Would definitely stay again. Everything is really high quality and there was so much attention to detail. The address is listed as St James Mews, not At Joseph's Mews so this did cause some confusion trying to find it but check in other than that was good. Wish we were staying longer and hope to be back!

A fabulous base for seeing the amazing Yorkshire Dales

Very cosy, superbly equipped cottage. We were walking the Herriot Way, through Wensleydale and Swaledale and loved returning to Riverdance Cottage at the end of every day.
