Snap up local produce in the bustling market town of Hawes (11 miles) and tour the Wensleydale Creamery to taste-test the different varieties of this renowned cheese. Explore historic Bolton Castle (5 miles), where Mary Queen of Scots was famously held captive, and see its medieval gardens.
