The outside was beautiful however the rooms and restaurant need some updating. The beds are uncomfortable and they only had two pillows per bed. The hotel and rooms are extremely hot so was tough to sleep. Check in was about 45 minutes so they definitely needed to have more staff. We had to take an early flight however the shuttle was booked all morning. They then called a van to pock us up at 5:15 am and it never showed up. Hard to get a ride last minute at that time in the morning.

Perfect for a stop before or after a flight. Booked and enjoyed a massage with just a couple hours notice. The food at the restaurant onsite was good. A nice variety of meals indicated GF which is great for a gluten free person like myself!

Although I was traveling in Costa Rica for a month on a very modest budget, I stayed at this Hilton for my last night before catching an 8 AM flight the following morning. Everything about my stay was good or excellent. I interacted with the staff on several items and they were highly professional and attentive. My Spanish is very basic, and all the staff spoke English that ranged from good to excellent. The bar/restaurant/pool area was VERY busy and I could not get waited on, so I went to my room for an hour or more, and decided to go back and sit at the bar. I was very well attended to, had a chicken and salad meal that was very good, and a couple of mojitos that were good, all at a reasonable price. The pool area was lovely with lots of seating, appropriate landscaping and privacy. The room was very quiet (an essential for me) once the kids above me quit jumping off the bed LOL. This will be my go-to for any further travel in and out of Liberia.

Customer service in this hotel is terrible. No issues with the facilities and room since it was spacious. The workers gave us a hard time checking in, gave us attitude throughout our whole stay. Management needs to address this since these people are the ones that set the environment or standard for the stay!

The hotel itself was good but nothing special. Clean and comfortable room was spacious with a couple of English TV channels. Pool area was a good place to relax. Service at check in and at the restaurant/bar was great. Parking lot was large. The only negative were the prices for beverages and some food items. For example the breakfast buffet was $29 pp USD so we chose to order from the menu. The breakfast prices were alright but we ordered coffee and were charged $10,000 CRC (colones) which equates to about $20 USD. Really $10 USD for a coffee?? Outrageous. Also beer by the pool was very expensive also. A convenient place to stay for a night right by the Liberia airport but not good value for your dollar. Maybe the hotels around the airport are like that (not sure) but do your research or drive off site for food and beverage.
