“Comfortable clean quiet apartment in converted old farm building. Very fast wifi. Covered parking for car and bikes below apartment. Helpful friendly owner doesn't speak english. Rustic village with good supermarket next to pretty river Yonne, Excellent tarmac cycle path along nearby canal du Nivernais. Lots of wine tasting. Recommend visiting Noyers, Auxerre, Vezelay. Only negative is the outside of the apartment, which is not pretty and has no view. Turin Shroud!!!!ne. ”

There were still Christmas decorations adorning the apartment giving extra special ambience. Everything we were looking for to experience old town France! “Tout s’est bien passé. Piscine, visites, balades à pied ou à vélo. Regret: pas de chaise enfant, mais c’était annoncé. Autres regrets: plusieurs choses différentes entre l’annonce du propriétaire, celle d’abritel et celle de Belvilla: pas de vélos disponibles alors que l’annonce en prévoyait,;lits de 1,4 m; heure d’arrivée. Sinon nous avons été bien accueillis par la dame qui s’occupe de la maison, par contre le propriétaire a répondu à un mail sur deux… Donc ce serait bien de mettre les……

“The house was perfect for a large group, we ate most of our meals in the outdoor area which was sheltered from the sun and we could watch the kids in the pool. The house was well equipped and clean. It was great having the outdoor cooking area which had a fridge and dishwasher. There isn’t anything in the village but activities are close by so it’s not a problem. I would recommend for large groups.”

“The perfect getaway — lovely cosy evenings by the fire, and days spent in this heavenly French chateau and its grounds. Lots of tennis played on the clay court (sadly too chilly to use the pool) but excursions to beautiful Chablis, Auxerre and the abbey at Pontigny were particular highlights. Can’t recommend enough!”
