“This is an old motel that has not been upgraded in decades. The bathtub is discolored with a hole in it. The sheets and towels are worn. The office is closed 11PM to 9AM and there was no breakfast in sight when we left at 8. The only reason it gets 4 stars from me is because it wouldn’t allow me to select 1 star. ”

“Room was good and the check in went smoothly. When my key card failed the clerks gladly made me new ones. Bathroom toilet paper holder was broken and needs to be replaced in room 223. All else was good. ”

“First, this motel offers minimal services or amenities. The pool was still closed with no indication it will open anytime soon. They offer coffee in the lobby in the AM, no food or snacks. Also, they do not include a in-room coffee maker. You do have a microwave and mini-fridge. Our room (227) was clean and had some updates (no carpet 👏). However, the person reinstalled the bathroom door after the new floor was installed didn’t bother to trim the door so you had to use two hands to open and……

“The room was decent the hotel itself looks run down on the outside and lots of crack heads running around the property and people sleeping in their car on the property I would definitely like to get my money back ”

“Was close to my event. Staff was kind and friendly. Great hot breakfast.”

“One of the best Motels I've stayed at in a while. The only issues I had is my Key Card was a little hard to use. The Card Reader was a bit hit and miss. And the TV Selection could be better. Also, some channels couldn't be watched due to pixelation. However, I liked my stay well enough that I will be staying there again in August. ”

“Wadesboro is interesting- not a lot going on, not a super dirty place but not a super clean place. This hotel is a good option if you’re passing through for a night and don’t want to spend a bunch of money. ”

“My family and I could get used to waking up and having coffee on the dock every morning while watching bald eagles catch fish out of one of the most peaceful coves in the lake. The house was cozy and we enjoyed the fire pit. Can't wait to come back!”
