This place is fantastic. My spouse and I stayed at the NAIA Miraflores for 3 weeks in February 2025 in one of the apartment units (about a half block from the main hotel) and we absolutely loved it. It’s a wonderful travelers’ hotel with rooms ranging from apartments to private rooms to hostel bunks. As such, the community there is exceptionally diverse.
First, the stuff universal to the hotel: the location is tremendous, right in the heart of Miraflores surrounded by so much: we went to more than 15 different coffee places all within a 10 minute walk of the hotel; there are countless amazing restaurants and bars in the vicinity, it’s about a mile from the ocean, very close to the BRT (bus) that you can easily take up to the historic city center or down to Barranco, there’s a full grocery market right across the street that has a great selection of prepared foods as well as everything you need. I’ve seen some mixed reviews about the breakfast, but it was great: a rotating variety of eggs, fresh fruit (it was summer, so lots of watermelon, dragon fruit, and pineapple, among others), various starches (potatoes, sweet potatoes, rice, pasta), vegetables, pastries, bread, coffee, tea, juice. We went almost every day.
But, more than all this, the staff was stellar. Maricielo and Diego were constant friendly faces, but literally everyone we interacted with was outstandingly helpful. Because of some complicated travel issues, we arrived and left a day later than our reservations,
