The building is built on a shifting and settling piece of land that was vacant for years. The owners have obviously never been there as the problems are evident in every room and the public areas as well.
Further, the GM must be getting payoffs like the Lima police department because the lobby reeks of pot, the drug deals are right outside the front door and prostitutes work freely in and outride of the building.
The only positive thing I can see is a few staff members who try and keep the place clean and safe, the night manager Christie, the day manager Valerie and a handful of sincere hardworking folks, are struggling to keep this place alive!
This may be marketed as a Mariott, but it’s not like any other one I’ve stayed at before.
