“Michael and Winnie greeted us upon arrival and showed us around. Beautiful people and the best hosts. Very friendly and accommodating. Our accommodation was above and beyond, equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Our cottage was so comfortable and peaceful. We would definitely stay there again and have recommended it to family. ”

Il y a tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner et même quelques aliments pour dépanner le premier soir si on a oublié d'arrêter à l'épicerie. Il faut bien sûr un véhicule à quatre roues motrices pour monter la côte et il peut arriver que le wifi ne soit pas accessible mais ça ne dure pas longtemps.”

“Very clean and well kept home. The owner stopped by to make sure our stay was going OK and to see if we needed anything. Enjoyed spending time in Port Hawkesbury and sitting by the water at the nearby rocky shore. Owner has good directions on how to get to get to other nearby sandy beaches.”

“Secluded with water access. Great for kayaking and canoeing and ability to have a camp fire. Loads of wildlife, cranes, woodpeckers, rabbits, grouse and eagles. The perfect camping experience with the luxury of a comfortable bed and a functional kitchen. ”

Having spent my summers on the Bras d’Or lake as a child I knew what I was getting with regards to lake (it is clear, warmer than the ocean, salt water —perfect to me!), but this was my first stay at Lakeside Luxury. I booked the cottage which was a great option for privacy, the screened porch was perfect for the mornings and evenings to get away from bugs. The bed was very comfortable and so was the sofa and there were some really great finishes in the cottage to give it……

“This property was exactly what we were looking for. Stunning views and far away from the hustle of city life. The house was quaint and enough room for seven of us. There is no central air conditioning, just a heat pump on the first floor but opening the windows to the ocean air as Todd suggested was more than sufficient to cool the rooms down in the night. Todd, the owner, was great and always answered our questions quickly. I would recommend staying here if you want to get away from the……
