“A beautiful place. It was clean and quiet with an excellent pool. Rooms were well equipped and very well maintained. Staff were excellent, welcoming and helpful. It is a 40 walk from Skala but there is an excellent and cheap hotel shuttle and the walk itself was lovely.”

Rooms are basic but comfortable - which is reflected in the star rating/room rate, they are spotlessly cleaned everyday and have everything you need including air conditioning (included in the price). “I stayed at Barefoot Contessa in mid-June 2025. I was holidaying as a solo traveller which I have only done a few times before and so was very anxious leading up to the trip. “Wir waren als Familie mit Kindern im Sunrise Inn Hotel auf der wunderschönen Insel Kefalonia. Das Hotel hat griechischen Charme, das Frühstück war vielfältig und die Lage war gut um die Insel zu erkunden. Wir hatten ein eigenes kleines Häuschen am Pool. Unsere Jungs konnten jeden Tag kostenlos Tennis spielen inkl. Schlägerverleih. Wirklich toll! Der Pool war auch schön mit Plätzen zum Sitzen und Liegen im Schatten. Alle Mitarbeiter des Hotels waren immer sehr freundlich. Wir können dieses Hotel……
