“Excellent location to ski Hunter, Windham, and Bellyaire mountains. Hiked Katterskill falls. Did not eat out. Restaurants were limited. Nice working wood stove. Wood provided. Local hiking trail right out front door called Diamond Notch trail”

“We visit this area every year and have stayed in many places. Library Lodge was as quaint and comfortable as they come. Many comforts & amenities are provided for. Beautiful kitchen and living space. Comfortable beds and showers. A reminder as I missed it when booking, but there are no traditional TVs here but a modern projector that you can stream from in the living room only. “Everything the Kids need , it was fun to come back!”

“We had a great time at the cabin! It was the perfect escape from the city. The view was gorgeous, and the cabin had everything we needed. We also tried to use the canoe but the padlock is stuck, it might be rusted/need to be replaced. Otherwise everything was perfect!”

“Amazing location on a completely private small lake just a few minutes off the Taconic Parkway. Host is very helpful, and very artistic. Sleeping on a pull out couch was initially off-putting, but it is very high quality and fairly comfortable, and works for the space. So many birds to see and hear! Nice hiking trails on the large property, which has adjacent preserved land. ”

“Amazing cabin that was perfect to relax in by the wood stove and look out at the snowy woods. Had all the modern amenities we needed and a well-stocked kitchen. Be careful with the driveway if coming in the winter. We were here during a snowstorm that turned to slush and then ice. The plow did come for the driveway but it still left a layer of ice that we needed a couple tries to get out of in our 4X4 SUV. It also was very slippery walking to the house. “We arrived during a power outage. It wasn’t looking good for this trip. Reach out to the owners and they got back to me very quickly. We went into town to get some groceries in the meanwhile. When we got back, the trip was officially on. We really liked the look of the cabin. It was kind of secluded which we liked and it wasn’t too hard to find.
