Located on the Western shore of secluded Pitcher Pond, this rental cottage is perfect for a family getaway. Its private setting nestled high in the woods is only a short stroll down the path to the private dock and lake. The wonderful wrap around deck has ample space to enjoy the sun and the screened-in gazebo. Sit and enjoy a lobster bake after a day at the lake or bottle of wine amoung friends.
Welcoming you when you arrive at the property is a comfortable, nicely furnished and well-maintained Maine lakeside retreat. At the water's edge, there is a dock to fish from, launch a kayak or just relax and enjoy the view, and a second swim dock anchored off shore. Pitcher Pond is 371 acres and fishing for smallmouth bass and white perch is a popular pastime.
As you enter the property, you will find two separate wings. To the left is the kitchen, living room, sitting room with a full bathroom including laundy and the primary suite and en suite bathroom. As you make your way right, there is a bedroom on the first floor with bunk beds and a queen with a brand new hall bathroom. The upstairs bedroom contains a queen bed, and a single day bed with a single trundle underneath.
Pitcher Pond is located 12 miles North of Camden and 6 miles South of Belfast. The nearby Lincolnville General Store has a full selection of groceries, gourmet prepared foods, beer and wine, and Belfast offers a Hannaford supermarket and a wide range of other restaurants and retail outlets. Additionally, it is under 2 hours to get to Acadia National Park and about 2 hours from Portland, Maine.
