“It was my second time staying here. It’s a great property. Location for us is perfect and secluded. I will say this time I noticed the house was not as clean. I get you are in the woods but we found mouse droppings in pots and pans. The house seems super cluttered with expired food in the fridge and clothing in the dressers. The owners are very accommodating and helpful. ”

“Absolutely perfect little house for a visit to Hohenwald. It wound up being super convenient to both my kid and downtown. The next door neighbor's cats were also appreciated, albeit from a distance. Despite the rain and tornado watches (thanks to the Host for the heads-up about that!), the house was cozy and just right. Might rent it again if I come back next year to do Mule Day, despite the distance.”

“Came into town for a family memorial celebration. Being from Nashville, with deep roots in this area, staying here just felt like home and we appreciated the hospitality so very much! “ THIS PLACE ROCKS!!!It has everything we needed and more. The jacuzzi tub was an added bonus. So was the bidets. I felt as if I was at 5 star resort. The private lighted boat inlet is perfect for docking a small to mid size boat. It’s quiet and relaxing. Nashville is an hour and 25 minutes away. The Thai food restaurant, that is only a mile or two away, has THE BEST Thai food we’ve ever ate. And us being from Chicago, that’s saying a lot. The boat launch is only a house……

“Doug was very kind and helpful through this whole process. The cabin was nice but smaller than I expected. The water in the shower was hard to control because it would get so hot when it was on cold basically. Other than that I was very pleased with our stay we enjoy going to up the creek weekly so staying close by and being able to enjoy the river for a few nights being close by was great for our family!”

“Property bed situation not accurate. There are 2 queen beds up stairs. No full size bed. Efficiency kitchen has everything you need. Stairs are difficult for older adults and anyone with mobility issues...like a bad knee. Great gas grills. Comfortable living room sofas. Beds upstairs are comfortable and soft. We were never given a key or any way to lock the doors when leaving the cabin. Or even lock up at night. I would stay again.”
