“Do not let the outside view fool you. Yes, there were literally cows right outside of check in. Check in was pretty simple but you may have to "call" someone down as the check in is not staffed. Our room was recently renovated and was quite nice with a fridge and microwave. Bathroom had great water pressure. Make no mistake this place is the definition of "no frills" but it is the only game in town and our room was worth the price.”

“This house was perfect for our girls trip! The views from the deck were amazing and there were all the amenities you would need and lots of attention to details around the house. We had a great time and would definitely come back! ”

“The property was really clean with a touch of vintage decor but modern appliances and nicely remodeled bathroom. Great outdoor area. The mattress in the bedroom we stayed in was broke down. There was a low spot on each side of the mattress making it a little uncomfortable. Nice community with several good restaurants.spot on each side”

“Our group has an annual Fall outing that usually puts us in Southern MO or Northern Arkansas. We elected to stay much closer to the KC metro and found the One of a Kind Lodge. The house is beautiful and built with high end materials and finishes. The view to the East is spectacular. Plan on taking walks, fishing, cooking and sitting in rocking chairs. We had a very relaxing long weekend.”

“This property was perfect for our 10th annual family vacation. In fact, it was so perfect, that we want to return next summer. Beautiful home with wonderful welcoming touches. Incredible outside area with amazing dock and fire pit area. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. And everyone waves as they pass by on lake and on the roads!”

BIL was visiting from Spain, a former marine who now lives out of the states, we were able to get together and enjoy and great family get together. ”
