“Arrived at the property and called to check in. Was told that property was closed for refurbishment and I had to go to a different property managed by them 15 minutes away. Got there and room was minimal and bare. Host was nice but it wasn’t an aparthotel as the original one was advertised as. I left and booked a night at a local Travelodge instead. ”

“After a long journey with heavy traffic it was a pleasure to have a warm greeting by the owners and to rest in this beautiful cottage . We had a lovely time at Lympne wild animal park, and the next day at Canterbury cathedral . Would highly recommend this accommodation and its setting in the countryside is just perfect ”

“Some of the basics were not provided on our stay so really wasn't worth the money. Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. At around 1pm I had not received the information so chased again. Was finally given the information at 2pm but was rudely told that……

“This is a lovely place to stay. Stuart greeted us on arrival and the Loft was warm and cosy with everything we needed including a basket of treats and eggs for breakfast. There are lovely views of the grounds and countryside. Nice walks from the property and Rye is close by car. Would thoroughly recommend. ”

“Great host and lovely spacious place! Despite all the rain, we enjoyed our holiday and would love to return back, hopefully next year for a longer time.The location was beautiful, and prompt instructions were given in advance on how to enter the property. The kitchen was big, nice and clean, the bathrooms were clean, and we had a lovely hot water all the time, which my little girl really enjoyed. “Set in a very convenient area for our visits. Initial stock of various items very acceptable. ”

“Was very disappointed. Labelled ‘entire apartment’ ‘kitchen’ ‘1 bathroom’. It’s not an apartment it’s a room. Then it’s a shared bathroom with 2 other rooms. Not cheap, so I consider it mis-selling and have complained as such.”
