La vétusté des parties communes de cet ancien immeuble d’habitation n’est pas digne d’une notation 4 étoiles. Le parquet des chambres est gondolé par l’humidité, la robinetterie est d’une manipulation délicate, les murs en plâtre, humide à certain endroit, auraient besoin d’une seconde jeunesse. Les finitions et l’entretien des chambres ne s’alignent pas du tout avec des établissements de la même catégorie. Les fans de mobiliers IKEA seront servis ! This is a lodge not a hotel. No lobby or any other amenities. The rooms are small, but useful. It was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept. The location is 5 star. Oh yes, the elevator stops on the floor above the entrance. You must carry your luggage one flight up. It's a beautiful but very old building. Yes I would stay again

We enjoyed our stay at Esqina, the room was small but clean and perfectly suited our needs. We felt safe while staying here and I would recommended it to anyone that’s looking for a place to rest their heads without needing all the frills and amenities of a larger hotel. It’s also very central to the different places in Lisbon that you’d want to go.

La struttura si trova in una posizione eccellente per visitare Lisbona, vicinissima a piazza del Commercio e a fermate di tram e metropolitana. Pulitissima e accogliente. Non c'è ascensore. Comodissimo il bagno con separazione della zona water e della zona doccia. L'unica cosa di cui ho sentito parzialmente la mancanza è stato un armadio/cassettiera ma se si viaggia con pochi bagagli va benissimo.

We had an amazing stay here, the hotel has been mainly renovated, I believe they are still working on an upper floor, but that didn't affect us at all. The room was very clean, the shower was huge with a window in it. We had two other windows that opened right up, one had a bench and the views where amazing. The location for exploring Lisbon couldn't be better and the prices were very reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

La struttura è molto centrale, molto ben serivita dai mezzi pubblici e privati. La camera è molto piccola con lavabo in camera. Il wc è in uno spazio a sé così come la doccia. È tutto pulito ma tutto estremamente piccolo. Manca un armadio o un luogo dove riporre i propri vestiti.

This property is in a great location. However, it takes minimalism to a whole new level. My room was so small that I could not open my suitcase and walk in the room at the same time. And there was no closet or drawers or any way to really unpack the suitcase. It is in a busy area so it is quite loud until about midnight. I felt like it was overpriced for what it was. That being said, it was a clean and adequate and they did provide me with a small bottle of wine and some pastries, which was nice. There is no kettle or coffee in the room (or even in the lobby), so I would’ve preferred that over the wine.

The property is a great location and very clean. I was a little shocked by the size of the room. The bathroom is very small and faces the bed with a pocket door. The room is slightly bigger than than the bed. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Title: Terrible Experience – This Should Not Be Rated as a 4-Star Hotel Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5) I deeply regret booking this hotel through Expedia. It was one of the worst travel experiences I’ve had. The bathroom had a constant foul smell that was never addressed. The bottled water provided was visibly dirty, which is simply unacceptable. The room had broken fixtures and was in poor condition overall. The area around the hotel felt unsafe, with people loitering and begging outside day and night. I felt so uncomfortable and concerned for my safety that I checked out a full day early — at my own expense. To make matters worse, despite raising these issues, the hotel denied everything and claimed I never said a word during my stay — which is completely untrue. They took no responsibility, and Expedia’s support, while polite, was ultimately limited in resolving the issue. This hotel is currently listed as four stars, which is extremely misleading. In reality, it barely deserves two. I urge Expedia to re-evaluate this listing, and I strongly advise fellow travelers to stay away from this property.

Property is perfectly located to visit all the sights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed 4 nights. The weather was such that we had the window open for fresh air and it does get noisy, but that is the be expected on a busy tourist street. Once the window was closed, it was very quiet. The bathroom area is small, but worked fine for 2 people. The key code for the doors is nice so you don't have to keep up with a key.
