I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately, our experience at Palacio Ludovice fell short of expectations—particularly due to the disappointing service we encountered from the front desk and concierge team.
While the property itself is undeniably beautiful and well-maintained, the warmth and hospitality you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber were noticeably absent. On several occasions, different members of our family approached or called the front desk and concierge to ask for basic assistance or information, and we were met with cold, disinterested, and at times dismissive responses. What should have been a welcoming and helpful point of contact instead left us feeling like we were inconveniencing the staff simply by asking for help.
This lack of attentiveness and courtesy was surprising and frankly unacceptable, especially for a hotel that positions itself as a luxury boutique stay. The service simply did not match the standard promised by the setting and price point. Hospitality is more than just elegant interiors—it’s about making guests feel looked after and valued. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here.
We hope this feedback is taken constructively, as the potential for excellence is certainly there if the guest service improves.
