This is a really nice reasonably priced hotel located in an area surrounded by shopping, sights, and dining. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. The breakfast on offer is very nice and, at 10 euros, very competitive with the local establishments. The elevator is very small because, like many old European buildings, it is installed in the stairwell and surrounded by the original stairs. We had one of the Historic Rooms on the top floor; it was spacious and well furnished. The only downside is that there seems to be a problem regulating the water temperature in the shower. It would fluctuate between very hot and very cold. I'm not sure what the problem is, but the staff was aware of it. Our friend on the second floor did not have this issue. We enjoyed our stay, in any event.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lift Boutique Hotel and would recommend it. The room was a nice size and had more personality than a standard hotel room. Breakfast was lovely. It was quiet which was surprising because it is so conveniently located near a square.

Tres bien placé, tout se fait à pieds. Le personnel est très gentils et agréable. Cependant plusieurs points à ameliorer dans la chambre et il est assez désagréable lors du petit déjeuner de ne plus s'entendre car la dame "jettait" la vaisselle sale pour la nettoyer au lieu de le faire un peu plus delicatement.

The Lift staff were very helpful. They tended to our needs and were patient. The location was excellent. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, bars, Metro, etc. Very clean.

Few suspicious stains on the carpet in our room. Mould in the bathroom which could do with some treatment. A noisy bar somewhere local at the weekend but seemed to stop by midnight. Conveniently located with helpful staff.

Perfect location!

Can't say enough about the wonderful staff and comfortable room. The hotel was spotless and staff amazingly helpful. Also the location!!! Right in the middle of where you want to be. Stores, restaurants etc... also the breakfast buffet was a great deal. We won't stay anywhere else in Lisbon.

The historical room on the top floor was unique and had a beautiful view of the city. It looked clean but felt a bit rundown, with stains on the curtains and industrial carpet. Despite excellent windows, the music from somewhere on the street (a bar next door maybe?) was so amplified it seemed to be inside my room, and the street noise (midnight garbage collection) was pretty loud. The lobby smelled like sewage. Location is fantastic and it is an acceptable hotel.

5階の部屋は、屋根裏部屋という感じで、 部屋の中に屋根の傾斜があり、何度も頭を打ちました。 夜中に大雨が降り、水の音がすると思ったら、部屋の中で雨漏りしていました。 ホテルの玄関がいつも変な匂いがして、少し気が滅入ります。 ホテルの場所はとても便利なところです。
