“The owner Phil welcomed us on the first day. He was totally amazing. The lodge was lovely. We were originally booked into Willow but had to change to Briar as there was a flood in Willow before we arrived. Dee Dee ensured we still had use of the hot tub which was lovely. The swimming pool is very large and you can book alone time in there which is nice. Excellent breakfast . Love the lodges in forest setting. So lovely. Nice fixtures and fittings. Excellent walk in shower. TV with three……
“Nice place .few points could do with some thought .pillows all very hard. Should have two of each to accomode different needs. For the price (£170) would have expected a decent level coffee offer and maybe a small fridge .
As a frequent traveler this would be expected at this price level .
Shower dispensers hadn't been filled fully .

“We had a wondefful stay in this Boutique Hotel! We had an evening meal which was delicious. Breakfast was also very good. The Hotel is a short walk to the beach and town centre so a good location. The owners were very friendly and it was great to learn the history of the hotel. Would stay again. ”
“Weather was exceptional. The apartment was exceptional.
Real surprise when you go up the stairs from the front entrance door. Owners should be very proud of what they have achieved.”
“I have stayed in many places and I can safely say this was one of my top three! Cozy clean super comfortable the surrounding ( the village) quaint and gorgeous friendly bar downstairs gave first drink on the house for guests the breakfast was delicious and homemade wonderful service bed unbelievably comfortable I could move in ! Honestly I wish I could give it 100 stars and more ! We will go back for sure … Christmas lights( sweet and tasteful) were a bonus as were the homemade eco friendly……
“We have just had a lovely stay at the Roman Camp. The room was very comfortable and clean and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Thanks the everyone on the team x”
“This lovely big house had character and was nestled in a tiny little village with an amazing national trust park next to it. You coukd walk from the garden into the park. Also good for walking to seaside (Sheringham), about 1.5 miles and also to train station (about the same). The staff were very friendly and helpful and had the knowledge of the local area. ”
“First time we've taken our Labrador to stay in a hotel, they're very dog friendly and helpful with any queries you may have about your stay or the nearby area. The breakfast hamper was plentiful and the food in the restaurant was very good too, we had an evening meal and cooked breakfast during our weekend stay. Would certainly recommend and hope to visit again sometime.”
“Enjoyed our stay. Would be nice to park near to the pub, car park is in another field which is a short walk away it seemed safe enough though. Evening meal and breakfast both excellent, staff were very friendly and room was clean. Garden room has a bath only and as it’s in the eves, you can only crouch to have a shower, don’t stand up quick and hit your head like I did! The bed is also tucked under the eves on one side so again be aware when getting up in the night as it is very close to your……
