Van Buren's Place is a private cozy house in the great Oak Forest neighborhood. This a prime location for both personal and business travelers. It's close to everything--shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. Its a very short drive to UALR, UAMS, and the VA Hospital. Its also a short drive to Arkansas Childrens Hospital, the LR Zoo, Philander Smith College, the State Capitol, Downtown, River Market, Hillcrest/Heights, Central High School National Historic District, and more.

Double booked! And that sucked!

Reserved this property in January 2023 for a Sister’s Birthday Weekend and to watch the eclipse. When I inquired about getting the check in instructions, I found out the house was double booked and we were on the losing end of the deal! Seems like you could get your stuff together, VRBO. VERY disappointed!

Thank you Sheila for being a great host.

Sheila provided the basics within the home and information for opportunities surrounding this home. While this is an older home in an older neighborhood, it was well secured and never felt unsafe. This home is well represented as advertised. We enjoyed our stay and Sheila was more than helpful while we were in town. We would happily stay in Sheila’s property(s) again.
