Great location, right in the middle of town on Main Street. Walking distance to almost everything in Littleton; a short drive for the rest. Continental breakfast. Great central location for hiking access and the activities of northern New Hampshire and Vermont. Wifi is decent, with hiccups from time to time. Negatives are you need to be there by 8pm to check in, which if you're coming from out of state can be a pain; there are no cable or broadcast TV channels on the in-room TV sets so if you want to watch anything other than streaming channels (none of them streaming versions of broadcast TV or cable networks) you will be out of luck. No local news, sports, weather, no national sports leagues or games. If you need to know the weather before your hike, you'll have to listen to the radio.

The welcome was very warm with lots of helpful information. Some of the staff took time to chat and answer questions about the history of the hotel and were very pleasant. The aircon is primitive but this is a very old building so don’t expect 21st century tech. The included continental breakfast was ok but they did have English tea so that gets an extra star from me. The rooms are quaint but as expected.

Property is 1850? Had to fight for parking with non guest parking. Up a hill not good for handicapped. Had to run water to get hot managed tapid after running 10 minutes. Noisy on 1st floor no idea about second floor.

The Thayer Inn is for people who like old fashioned hotels. The floors creak, there’s no elevator, there’s the funky relationship between the shower and the fire alarm, but it’s lovely and charming and has a great balcony overlooking Main Street. Littleton is a wonderful walking town between the river and the shops, and there are plenty of good dining options as well.

The cats are adorable and the location is great, quiet and relaxing. Room had all the amenities, a slightly smaller shower than usual but it's an older building and they've maintained it very well for what it is.

The room was perfect! Had everything we needed for our one night stay and the receptionist in the evening was SO delightful and nice. The only issue was our light in the bathroom stopped working half way through the night but that is not a big deal at all. The issue was known at check out and the receptionist apologized many times. Overall 10/10 ! Such a cute place and would definitely stay again if I am in the area

On expedia the site indicates they can accommodate 5 and when we arrived, the room could not sleep 5 and did not have another room to put us in. Hotel indicated expedia misrepresents their accommodations.

My room was extremely hot, and I had no thermostat to adjust. The breakfast that was included withy stay was just packaged pastries and pop tarts. For the price I paid, I do not think there was anything stand-out about this facility.
