“Nice lil cabin in the perfect location. It was also clean with boho like decor. Hot tub and pool are about .5 miles from cabin down a lane. That was a bummer. However, the view and fire pit area made up for it! There was a closer hot tub but no decking or steps in and out. Communication with caretakers / owners was extrodinary!!! ”

The only issues we had were regarding cleanliness (a very strong mold smell resulting from a kitchen sink leak in the cabinet below) and pest infestations in the kitchen. Both were communicated to the property manager who advised they relayed them to the owners. We made it work as we weren’t at the house much at all, but it would have been very nice to receive……

“This is a lovingly restored historical property with many beautiful original features, like the staircase & railings. The little town is so nice, and the people are friendly. We came down from Georgia to help a family member move into the home they just bought and needed a comfortable place to stay after moving stuff all day. “My wife and I booked this rental for a quiet birthday getaway—our first time with this type of stay. Prior to arrival, the host communicated quickly, but after that we only heard from her once we arrived and learned VRBO had double-booked the property, which seems to be a not-uncommon occurance. “This property was even better than what the listing said. The host was quick to respond to anything that I asked. The listing does say one bathroom, but there are actually three full bathrooms. That was super helpful. There was a huge kitchen that was well stocked, plenty of towels and blankets. There was also ample seating in the living room area and at the dining room table. It was really a wonderful experience overall. The only downside is the dishwasher was not working, which we did not know……
