“Amazing place! The ladies in reception of the hotel where we picked up the keys were so lovely. The apartment was stunning and over 2 floors, beautiful big bay window over looking the sea and the beds were very comfortable. It was extremely clean and tidy. Also loved the spa. Thanks for a great stay! ”

“D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? There were plenty cleaning materials and cooking facility……

“We enjoyed staying at this cottage and it made a great base for exploring the southern coast of Cardigan Bay, which has some fabulous stretches of the coastal path. However, the cottage was really cold when when arrived mainly because the owner insists on turning the radiators to frost setting and then locking them. “We were a group of 6 adults, 6 children and 4 dogs. The house offered a perfect base to explore the local areas. The kitchen is one of the most well equipped we have stayed in which was perfect for cooking meals to enjoy together in the house. The garden is perfect for the kids and dogs to run around in and the children spent ages occupying themselves on the tyre swing. “We as a family of 5 + a 3 yr old spent a delightful week at Penuwch Fach in July/August 2024.
We were attending an interment and celebration of life nearby so the location was perfect.
We were met by the owner and there was a welcome wine/biscuits plus tea and coffee. There is a Nespresso Gusto machine too plus a few pods :). "The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night. The toilet also did not work properly, the flush was extremely weak. There was no way of contacting the hotel at night to sort out the shower issue and the reception runs from 3pm to 6pm instead of 8pm as stated here. Would recommend if those management issues were fixed."
