“Our extended family of 14 were entranced by this wonderful house and its extensive grounds. The young children loved exploring in the orchard, picking a few cherries, bouncing on the safe (!) trampoline. And the games room with kicker football, lego, and puzzles and games! The bedrooms were extremely comfortable with AMAZING views. The ensuite bathrooms were a delight. We all loved the stylish kitchen. Fridge & freezer large enough for our needs. For meals, we used not only the lovely regency……

“We booked last minute and were very impressed with the cabin just perfect for a peaceful getaway but close enough to so many walks and places to visit. Took our dog as well and so safe for him to have room to move onto the patio area as gated off and lovely walk around the site with a kids park as well. Love to go back soon.”

“From booking to check-out, it has been a wonderful experience and we didn't want to leave!We're the "city" type of people so we had pre-arrival jitters. Dan, the host/owner, gave good instructions for arrival, and boy, what a fantastic stay it was!!It's a beautifully refurbished 1500's house (see the plaque at the house) with wifi, mains electric, heating, hot water, showers/toilets, modern cooker and under counter fridge.Want to reconnect to Mother Nature? “The owner only sent entry instructions after i emailed the day before asking about them. Hotels.com said pets stayed for free but we were charged £7 per night. We couldn't get the shower to warm up. There were no instructions for anything in the cabin. The beds are very small doubles. Strangely there was no kettle in the lodge. It needs a lot of TLC. One positive is the setting is stunning. It's well overpriced for what you get. ”
