The staff were lovely and welcoming. The breakfast had a good variety and was plentiful. The hotel was in a great location. The bed linen and towels were very clean. Unfortunately those were the only positives. The hotel needs a complete refurbishment. Our bathroom was tiny with mould on the ceiling and walls. The shower was tiny. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The floor was creaky and wonky . Any pipes showing were covered in rust. This includes the radiator. The bedroom window kept sliding down. Our room was over the kitchen area and was unbelievably noisy. There was not enough seating in the bar and outside looked run down. I wish I’d paid a little extra for somewhere nicer.

The rooms are absolutely disgusting, left after one night. Claimed refund for the second night, which the Hotel agreed to, having tried to remedy the situation but couldn't.

The staff could not have been more pleasant A credit to the Hotel, Well stocked Bar, We had breakfast which was simply superb. Dining staff were there to help at every minute, clearing tables and restocking the food. Perfection at its best

Was alle anderen schon geschrieben haben, stimmt. Das Hotel muss dringend von außen und vor allem innen renoviert werden. Es war alles sauber, aber man sieht dem Hotel deutlich an, dass in den letzten Jahren nicht viel investiert worden ist. Alle anderen Hotels in der Nachbarschaft sehen schon von außen wesentlich ansprechender aus. Wir würden erst mal nicht wieder in dem Hotel absteigen.

The hotel was disgusting, very run down, needs updating, & the food was dp bad ive ended up in hospital with food poisening, so dident eat a thing after that & paid for half board the whole stay Also the price of £100 for 2 little dogs was appalling, & nothing was provided for them, not even a bad or blanket. The whole experience was awful for me, & i now request some kind of compensation for the inconvenience & upset causes. I await to hear from you ASAP Regards, M.Edwards.

The room was adequate but at the top of the stairs by the bar, dining rooms and reception so was noisy. The linen was clean but carpet stained and needed cleaning. I only slept there so it served a purpose.

Me and my partner stayed in a seaview room over the weekend and had a brilliant stay i would recommend this hotel as its walkable to everywhere room was very clean just could do with a repaint. Staff were really friendly and helpful

Our room was freshley decrated and the view from the window was fabulous. Would have appriciated a couple of hooks in the bathroom and outside to hang a jacket on, there was only the wardrobe or the back of a chair. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was really good. However, the hotel itself was showing it's age a bit. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

This was the second time we have stayed at the marine hotel and found it very clean and friendly staff. Only disappointed thing was the cost of your dog staying had gone up considerably and they have now limited how many allowed.
