“Property was not well looked after. Blinds were missing from Windows, surfaces had not been cleaned, the kitchen was missing many essential items such as forks, broken glass outside the back door, last guests dirty laundry left in the dinning room, the list goes on. Really put a downer on the first day of the holiday. I don't expect to have to provide essentials like forks and kitchen knives and clean on arrival. Manager of property was initially understanding but is now ignoring my emails.”

“Lovely cosy cottage in a great location. Central to be able to visit so many other locations. Clean and comfortable. With everything you will ever need for a perfect stay. Was great to wake up with the sheep and chicken roaming freely on the common right outside the cottage gates. Grandchildren loved to see them. Jane and Malcolm couldn’t do enough for us to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you both for the fresh blue eggs.Will definitely go back. Thank you both. . ”

“We had a wonderful 4 days in your lovely cottage. It was very comfortable and so quiet! Everything we needed was supplied and the kitchen in particular was very well equipped. The surrounding area is beautiful and we knew we had the cottage to come back to in the evenings. The walk to the Royal Oak was just the right length with good food at the end. The TV was a bit variable but we enjoyed the DVDs instead. We couldn’t get the wi-fi to work but that may have been our lack of skill. Thank you……

“Very clean and well equipped. Check in information good. Getting information on how to check out at 1:55 in the morning was less than helpful as it woke us up. We have to leave some alerts on as husband receives medical alerts overnight. It may not be a problem for those who can switch a do not disturb on. Also had to message to request an internet password for the medical monitoring. Owner was very helpful and provided it straight away but it would be helpful to have it available if internet is……
