“We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful property in north Wales. We were blown away by the space and the charm of the house -perfect for our group. The living areas were spacious enough for everyone to relax together and the kitchen had everything we needed for home -cooked meals. The location was very ideal, peaceful and private ,with Georges countryside views, yet close to local attractions and walks. It really felt like a home away from home and the hosts were friendly and helpful……

“Riverside Cottage is situated in a fairytale setting, with woodland behind and the river in front of the cottage. Access is easy, however, and we had no problems finding it. We could park the car close to the front door. Gaining entry was easy, following the clear instructions we'd received, and we found the cottage clean, comfortable and surprisingly spacious. In the evening when the temperature dropped the electric fire warmed the living area up very quickly. We slept very well. The……

“From booking to check-out, it has been a wonderful experience and we didn't want to leave!We're the "city" type of people so we had pre-arrival jitters. Dan, the host/owner, gave good instructions for arrival, and boy, what a fantastic stay it was!!It's a beautifully refurbished 1500's house (see the plaque at the house) with wifi, mains electric, heating, hot water, showers/toilets, modern cooker and under counter fridge.Want to reconnect to Mother Nature? “We booked last minute and were very impressed with the cabin just perfect for a peaceful getaway but close enough to so many walks and places to visit. Took our dog as well and so safe for him to have room to move onto the patio area as gated off and lovely walk around the site with a kids park as well. Love to go back soon.”

“The owner only sent entry instructions after i emailed the day before asking about them. Hotels.com said pets stayed for free but we were charged £7 per night. We couldn't get the shower to warm up. There were no instructions for anything in the cabin. The beds are very small doubles. Strangely there was no kettle in the lodge. It needs a lot of TLC. One positive is the setting is stunning. It's well overpriced for what you get. ”

“We had the most magical stay in this beautiful yurt near Barmouth. It was the perfect escape from the world – quiet, relaxing, and full of calm. Our boys, aged 4 and 7, had the best time swinging in the hammock, toasting marshmallows, drinking hot chocolate, and going on bug hunts.The yurt was clean, spacious, and cosy, with comfy beds for all of us.
