“My wife and I were doing a meandering drive from Ottawa to Montreal. We made a last-minute decision to stay here, grabbing the last room available. We knew it was a remote location, so our expectations were not high. Owner Dominic, however, has created a jewel along the Ontario side of the Ottawa River that I highly recommend for lodging and, more importantly, the food! The property used to be solely a restaurant, but post-pandemic, Dominic and his brother decided to turn the third generation……

( difficultes avec les batteries par contre) Heureusement que nos voisins etaient sympathiques, car il est assez difficile d'avoir de l'intimite! Vraiment un bon choix pour les vacances!”

It’s just a short walk through the forest to the world largest log cabin at Fairmont :) — we even saw fireflies on the way, which was magical. Plenty of lovely eateries nearby, and despite being on the road, it was wonderfully quiet at night.”
