“This is a beautifully renovated home in a residential area beside a playing field next to the canal. The canal has a trail which is a lovely peaceful area for walking and meeting locals out walking their dogs. It is a short walk to the core downtown area. It is well appointed with modern appliances ”

“We really enjoyed our stay and thought the house was really nice.....however, the single beds desparately need new mattresses to the extent where one of my children opted to sleep on the floor rather than on the springs of the mattress. ”

“A group of 7 family and friends from various places in Scotland and England stayed at Cardon House as a good place to get together.It's a lovely house and very comfortable and spacious! Wish we were staying longer. Some stunning scenery in the area and saw a red squirrel in the garden! Did not meet Caroline the host in person but spoke on the phone a couple of times, she was very helpful and friendly.Thoroughly recommend this place for a group of up to 12.”

“Loved the cottage Red Deer. We have stayed in the one bedroom before Brochure. Settee was a bit uncomfortable. No hairdryer although listed as having one, so had to go and buy a travel hairdryer. Disappointed that there wasn’t any hand soap provided in the bathroom Apart from that we would come back as it is very spacious. ”

“This was such a wonderful stay it right across the street from the Castle Tavern. The rooms were very comfortable. If you have a group I would definitely stay here and enjoy the stay. It very walkable to restaurants and bars. The kitchen is great we used it to make breakfast. ”

“Property was good value, bed very comfortable. Nice warm house. Shared kitchen / livingroom very clean and modern. When I arrived there was mould around base of shower so I put bleach on it and cleaned it, This should have been done by cleaner. The electric shower needs replaced as its intermittent. But at the cost I'd certainly use it again. Fine distance from the town. Oh wifi wasnt really working but that could just be me..”

“My family and I stayed here and we thoroughly liked it. Excellent location right off the Grieg street walking bridge. Lots of shopping and restaurant options. The interior of the unit was very clean and safe and easy to get too. We appreciated the in unit washer/dryer to catch up on our laundry while on our trip. The check in process with the owners was simple and straight forward. Highly recommend. ”
