“After nearly 2500 miles across country at 100 plus degree temperatures. This retreat exceeded all expectations. The views, the nature, the peace and tranquility, stars galore and all between the old west from John Wayne's yesteryear, and some of the most challenging off-road trails in Colorado leading to old gold and silver mines and abandoned ghost towns. “A beautiful and well equipped log cabin on the side of a mountain. Very comfortable bed! The yard and the flower baskets were well cared for. Saw hummingbirds and Phoenix moths each morning. Turkeys visited a couple of times. We loved the different outdoor sitting areas. The breakfast nook was a special to eat looking out at the beautiful vista. You can also sit in living room and look out and see the mountains. Ouray is known as Little Switzerland of America. Surrounded by majestic mountains.……

“This was, by far, the best girl's weekend you could ask for! The views are stunning. No verbal description or picture can do justice to the real thing, but Rick's description of the property is spot on. They have really thought of everything you could possibly want or need for your stay. I'd like to say it sucked so I could keep this location all to myself, lol, but that would be a lie and a huge disservice to our amazing host! We will be back! Don't know when, but we will be back. “The property was amazing, the photos do not do it justice it is beautiful. Wake up in the morning to the sunrise, relax on the front porch with the views of the huge valley and the majestic mountains, mezmerizing. Later in the day relax and watch the sunset. “The property was amazing and everything that the listing showed. Very private cabin on the ridge. Everything worked! Multiple grills onsite for meals! The only minor issue is when arriving, there is another house immediately when you turn onto the property. Maybe I missed it, but it would be good to have in the welcome packet to proceed past the first house.”
